Working as a Duty Solicitor focusing on criminal defence your practice will be varied covering both legal aid and private work. This will include but not be limited to dealing with general criminal work from battery through to homicide in the Magistrate and Crown Courts as well as more specialist areas such as extradition, fraud, money laundering among others. Due to an increase in work and instructions they are actively looking for a number of Duty Solicitors to join their team.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- Be a qualified Solicitor admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales
- Possess Duty status – essential
