Corporate Account Executive
Our client is a well-established Insurance Broker based in Central London who require an experienced Corporate Account Executive to aid grow of the team and play an integral role in developing their presence within Corporate and Commercial business.
You will be expected to generate profitable new business from existing or new clients in line with growth targets. This will be achieved by managing and providing a quality service in respect of client’s demands and optimising account retention of the inherited exisitng book of business.
You will demonstrate a high commercial awareness and be experienced in dealing with Corporate Clients, this will be at UK level with some exposure to placement of International risks.
Manage client/agent relationships and grow existing accounts
Build a sales pipeline of potential clients
Investigate and discover new sources of profitable business for the Operating Division and Group as a whole
Ensure that all activities comply with FCA regulatory, compliance and market standards
Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines
Maintain awareness of responsibilities under FCA and other regulatory requirements and ensure all business is conducted in accordance with these requirements
Ensure client information and sales plans are kept up to date.
A broad and sound knowledge in the market and in all classes of retail/commercial insurance is essential
Experienced in handling accounts between £50,000 and £250,000 fee income.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of client market
Ability to build close relationships with clients
Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, although this is not a pre-requisite for an experienced Account Executive
ACII qualification is desirable
Driving licence is essential
