A leading Claims Management company who have achieved impressive growth over the years through identifying new markets to develop, hiring the right staff to grow the business and focusing on retaining their employees are now looking for a Building Surveyor to join their team in the South East.
Your main function will be to manage a caseload of claims, attending site visits to inspect the damage and establish the extent of policy liability.
You will also play a key part in calculating the value of the claim as well as negotiating settlements with the client to reach a fair outcome for both parties.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience as a building surveyor dealing with insurance claims, or for an internal desktop claims adjuster who is looking to take the next step in their career and move into more of a field based role.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
· Current experience working with domestic claims either within a loss adjusting or surveying function
· The ability to manage and prioritise own workload and work remotely from home
· Strong report compilation and presentation skills
