Assistant Office Manager / Office Manager

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 + Bonus and Benefits (Flexible and Negotiable on the experience of the candidate)

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

 

The Client:

A specialist insurance broker who are looking to strengthen their processes and relieve a senior director of their varied responsibilities in order to free them up to pursue other avenues which will help with business growth.

You will come from a personal line or ideally have income protection knowledge and experience and have a good attitude and ability to lead people and internal infrastructures, e.g. company website and policy administration. 

This is a wonderful opportunity within a relaxed, friendly but also ambitious company which could offer real progression for the right person inline with company growth goals.

The Opportunity:

This is a varied role and it will have flexibility depending on the strengths and experience of the candidate. It will involve people management in the form of driving performance, coaching and a wider responsibility of continuous improvement in the office. You will have a all encompassing role and you will require initiative to link up various parts of the business using problem solving and entrepreneurial thinking to yield results.

There will be a compliance and regulatory requirement to the role e.g. GDPR. You will also have responsibility of the policy wordings, the company website and back office processes and policy administration team.

What you will need to be considered?

The role will suit someone from a personal lines background e.g. Home, Motor, Income Protection or perhaps a Financial Services professional who has Management / Supervisory experience

The ability to drive performance and a continuous improvement mentality 

Initiative, strategic and bigger thinking abilities 

The ability to work in a smaller business and take on varied responsibilities as opposed to only operate in a closed area of skillset

Good eye for detail and the ability to understand and stay on top of policy wordings changes and implement process change

Reasonable level on CII qualifications is preferable

Compliance / regulatory experience ideally with good GDPR knowledge
