Our client is a well-known insurance provider with a strong name in the insurance sector and a tremendously loyal client bank across their lines of business.
We are recruiting for a very interesting opportunity whereby the successful candidate will inherit a book of commercial clients to manage from day one looking to develop and grow this portfolio moving forwards.
Responsibilities
Working from an established office in the area you will be predominantly office based with external responsibilities such as client visits and prospecting efforts
Initially familiarise yourself with the diverse commercial client portfolio via telephone calls, letters, emails and site visits
Understand their ever changing insurance risk exposure and consult on appropriate covers
Manage clients new business enquires, midterm adjustments and renewals
Support senior client executives on sight visits
Actively build pipeline and prospect new business
Undertake ongoing training and coaching from the business to develop professionally and technically
Skills
A proven background in Commercial Insurance with relevant product knowledge
Preferably coming from a sales background or confident in your ability to prospect new business
Confident and professional personality
Good communication, negotiation and customer service skills
Ambitious and keen to work towards both individual and group targets
